This collection of pictures is aiming to show how fast japanese society is and how less importance is often given to the individual, considered just part of the production chain. Years of working 355 days out of 365 has generated many internal contradictions dividing the community into the young people willing to relocate abroad and bypass tradition and the aged ones still linked to their ancient rituals. In between we have a generation hiding vices and showing plastic virtues in the name of duty to their forefathers. Modern buildings and cutting edge technologies are something obvious to associate with Japan, as well as shyness and formal politeness: let's take a ride in the land of the last train running and the rush to get on it....
